While making this list I learned that I have a lot of favorites, so narrowing it down a little more difficult than I thought, but I managed to do it so here we go.
10. The Divergent series by: Veronica Roth
This was a very exciting series to read, and I greatly enjoyed the ride I went on with Tris, Four and rest of the gang. This is a series I would recommend for a fan of the Hunger Games, or even for a fan of YA Dystopia.
9. The Hunger Games by: Suzanne Collins
This is the book series that got me into the dystopian genre, that and my senior year high school English teacher who made us read 1984 and Brave New World. The characters and world Suzanne Collins created was fun, and heart-wrenching at the same time in parts of the series, especially in the last book of the series. I would recommend this series for people who enjoy an exciting dystopian book series that has action, suspense, love and hope all wrapped up in a nice bow for readers to enjoy.
8. The Fault in our Stars by: John Green
This is the book that got me into contemporaries, and I'm sure it is the first one that made me cry while reading a book. John Green did an amazing job with weaving a story that has a good balance of happiness, joy, and love as well as sorrow, and loss. You will be laughing and crying through this wonderful story, have a box of tissues the whole time.
7. The Wednesday Letters by:Jason F. Wright
The book is about a devoted husband and wife who write letters to each other each week and are found dead in each other's arms 39 years after their wedding. This is a story that deals with love, loss, and forgiveness. It is a cute and fast read for anyone who is in need of a light and sweet read.
6. 1984 by: George Orwell
I enjoyed this book very much. It both excited and terrified me with each turn of the page, not the fact that it was scary, but the fact of imagining if this was the world we lived in with Big Brother watching our every step both inside and outside of our homes. As well as a government telling its citizens what career they have to have, taking away love and all relationships, and having the people's thoughts and words censured. If they go against the rules there are dire consequences for them. I enjoyed the suspense and drama of this whole book. It is a must read for all people, especially ones who love dystopia, love and individual freedom.
5. Wicked Lovely by: Melissa Marr
This series is about the Summer and Winter Fey with their wars and how the human world plays a part in it when they are brought into the fairy one. The reason I got into Fairy books was because of this series. If you love books that deal with love, fantasy, fairies and darker materials this is the series for you.
4. The Iron Fey by: Julie Kagawa
My favorite part about this series is that it has the same characters with character development throughout the series, and I love the love story in it between Meghan and Ash. I also love the dynamic between Ash and Puck. Julie Kagawa created a fairy world that was so addicting that I was surprised I didn't gain weight due to it's sweet goodness. It is also a must read for YA fairy lovers.
3. The Infernal Devices by: Cassandra Clare
This trilogy was SO amazing!!!! I loved it so very much, with the love triangle and the Shadow world in London in the mid 1800's. I read all three books in a week they are that addictive. If you are a person who enjoys love, action, magic, loyalty and friendship then this is definitely the book trilogy for you.
2. Night World by: L. J. Smith
This is the book series that started my YA journey and opened the door to all the above YA books and series. This is my favorite and I love it because I am a sucker for soulmate stories and all of them have that element in them. They also have werewolves, witches, vampires and shapeshifters. This is a series for all YA fantasy junkies.
1. Pride and Prejudice by: Jane Austen
This is my favorite book of all time. Jane Austen was a mastermind at writing the hate to love trope with classiness as well as commentary on the political situations of the time through humor in the novel. If one can get through the elegant language of the time, then they will enjoy this love story very much.

Ok. I will try to read it. Thank you.
@mymusic.4 I see we have a few things in common, because I an also a sucker for romance and stories set in earlier time periods than our own, especially the 16th- 19th centuries. The "Infernal Devices" trilogy is set in London in the late 19th century, and is a fantasy fiction with a love triangle. It is also a fast read, because Cassandra Clare's writing just sucks you right in and even at the end you're wanting more. I highly recommend it. :)
Your list of books here all look interesting. I have read "Pride and Prejudice " and that has always been a favorite. I'm a sucker for romance. I think I might read " Infernal Devices". It sounds interesting. I also like stories that are set in earlier time periods.
