Hello there, if you are new to my website, then welcome and I hope you enjoy my posts. If you are someone who has been reading these posts, hi mom, then it may seem like I have abandoned this website and lost interest in reviewing books. While I can see where you would come to that conclusion, since I haven't posted since October, however, that is not the case. So what have I been up to for the last six months? Well, I have been studying, working and studying some more. I am no in my last year of college, and will be graduating in three short weeks. I am all at once terrified, relieved and excited to be moving on with life.
Now that we are all at home, hopefully for only two more weeks, it has given me some time to think about my next steps after I graduate. I ultimate want to be in publishing, but unfortunately that is not a good place for me to start my career due to the virus which has taken down several publishing houses, leading to many people losing their jobs. So, looking ahead, I've been applying for some entry level PR positions in my home city and will be pursuing such other occupations after I graduate going into the summer and hopefully by August companies will be reopened and hiring once more. In the mean time I also plan on growing this blog, looking at other alternative ways to use my English Literature degree and share some awesome stories with you fine folks! :)
